We collect only what we need. We do not collect information speculatively or for purposes beyond what this policy describes.

Schneider Axiom Institute LLC (“SAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a professional education, credentialing, and methodology institution headquartered in the United States. We train business owners, executives, and advisors to identify and remove the governing constraints limiting performance inside organizations through the Schneider Axiom methodology.

- Account information: Username, password, and account preferences for credential program access
- Purchase information: Billing address and transaction records. Payment card details are processed exclusively by our third-party payment processors — we do not store, transmit, or have access to your full payment card number at any time
- Diagnostic responses: Your 81-question Business Constraint Diagnostic responses — see Section 12 for special protections that apply to this category of information
- Credential program submissions: Assessment responses, diagnostic project submissions, and coursework
- Application information: Professional background and experience submitted with CAE applications
- Communications: Emails, form submissions, referral requests, Coffee with Larry scheduling information, testimonials, and any other information you choose to share with us
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect limited technical information to operate and improve the site:
- Device information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type
- Usage information: Pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring website, date and time of visits
- General location: City, state, and country inferred from IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location

2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive limited information from third-party service providers who operate on our behalf — for example, transaction confirmations from payment processors and aggregated usage data from analytics providers. We do not purchase data about you from data brokers or any other third-party source.

Section 4Legal Bases for Processing — GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing personal data, we rely on the following bases:
- Contractual necessity: Processing required to fulfill our agreement with you — delivering purchased products, providing course access, issuing credentials
- Legitimate interests: Processing necessary for our legitimate business interests — improving our services, preventing fraud, maintaining security — where those interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights
- Consent: Processing based on your explicit consent — marketing emails you opted into, analytics cookies you accepted
- Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable law — tax records, responses to lawful legal process

5.2 Practitioner Referral Network
If you request a referral through the Practitioner Referral Network, we share the following limited information with the practitioner we match you with:
- Your name and contact information
- Your company name and industry
- A summary of your challenges and needs based on your referral request
- Your engagement preferences
By submitting a referral request, you explicitly consent to this sharing. Practitioners are independent professionals responsible for their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for how a practitioner handles information you share directly with them outside of this initial referral.
5.3 Credential Verification Registry
When you earn a credential, your name, credential designation, and certification date are listed in the public verification registry at schneideraxiom.org/verify. This is necessary to allow employers, clients, and institutions to verify your credential. If you wish to opt out of public listing, contact info@schneideraxiom.org. Note that opting out limits your ability to publicly demonstrate your credential to third parties.
5.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information when required by law, including in response to valid court orders, subpoenas, government agency requests, law enforcement requests, or legal proceedings involving SAI. Where legally permitted, we will notify you of such requests before disclosing your information.
5.5 Business Transfers
If SAI is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or business transition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any choices you have regarding your information before the transfer occurs.

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

The 81-question Business Constraint Diagnostic collects detailed, sensitive information about your business, including business challenges, financial patterns, operational dynamics, leadership behavior, and organizational structure. Because of the sensitivity of this information, the following additional protections apply specifically to your diagnostic data.
- Your diagnostic responses are used solely to prepare your written finding and deliver it to you
- Your individual responses are never shared with any third party except: with a practitioner you are explicitly matched with upon your request; in aggregate, fully anonymized form for methodology research and improvement; or as required by law
- We do not use your diagnostic data to market any third-party product or service to you
- We do not sell your diagnostic data to any party under any circumstances — ever
- We do not use your diagnostic data to build advertising profiles or targeting categories
- We do not share your diagnostic data with any data broker, analytics company, or commercial data aggregator
- We do not use your diagnostic data to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning system without your explicit written consent
Diagnostic data is stored securely within Shopify and retained for 3 years after delivery of your written finding, after which it is securely deleted or fully anonymized. During the retention period, individual responses remain confidential and are not accessible to any SAI team member beyond those involved in preparing your finding.
Section 13Email Communications and CAN-SPAM Compliance
Transactional Emails
We send transactional emails related to your purchases and account — purchase confirmations, product delivery, credential issuance, account updates, and password resets. These communications are necessary to provide our services. You cannot opt out of transactional emails while you maintain an active account or active product access.
Marketing Emails
We send marketing emails only to individuals who have explicitly opted in to receive them. Marketing emails may include educational content, new product announcements, white paper publications, and updates related to the SAI methodology. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing info@schneideraxiom.org with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. We will process your unsubscribe request within 10 business days.
CAN-SPAM Compliance
All SAI marketing emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Our marketing emails will:
